A wedding whiskey tasting bar is one of the few elements your guests will still be talking about for years later. It is interactive, personal, and unmistakably yours — and unlike a generic open bar, it gives your guests something to learn, sample, and remember. All Spirits Events designs wedding whiskey experiences across New York Metro Area to your Destination Wedding, curated around your story and built to fit seamlessly into your day.
Whether you want a cocktail-hour tasting station, an after-dinner seated experience, or a groomsmen-suite ritual before the ceremony, we shape the format to your wedding — not the other way around.
A whiskey experience curated around your story
The best wedding tastings tell the couple’s story through the bottles. A few directions we have designed for past clients:
- A flight of bourbons sourced from the cities the couple has lived in.
- A side-by-side of Scotch single malts and Japanese whiskies reflecting two family heritages.
- An Irish whiskey curation for a family with deep Irish roots, including small-batch bottles guests have never seen.
- A flight aged in the year the couple met — a personal, sentimental detail that becomes the night’s story.
We sit with you to learn the narrative, and we build the selection from there.
Led by the Alcohol Professor — a recognized whiskey authority
All Spirits Events is led by founder Adam Levy, founder of the New York International Spirits Competition and the editorial voice behind The Alcohol Professor, quoted in Bloomberg and the BBC. At your wedding, Adam or one of our hand-picked whiskey hosts pours, tells the story, and answers your guests’ questions. The result feels expert and intimate — curated for your guests at wedding venue and or destination
Where and when in your wedding
We design the experience to fit the moment. Choose one or stack two:
- Cocktail hour tasting bar — a curated flight at a dedicated station; guests drift over throughout the hour.
- After-dinner seated tasting — a more intimate experience for close friends and family once the formal reception winds down.
- Groomsmen or bridal-party suite — a pre-wedding ritual while the wedding party gets ready.
- Welcome event or rehearsal dinner — a beautiful way to introduce the two families.
- Post-wedding brunch tasting — a softer landing to close the weekend.
We source the whiskey — or work from your venue’s inventory
All Spirits Events does not sell whiskey, which means we curate the flight purely around your story — not what a distributor has paid us to pour. Two ways we typically source:
- We source for you from a deep network of distillers, importers, and small producers — including limited-release and hard-to-find bottles, plus medal winners from the New York International Spirits Competition.
- We curate from your venue’s existing whiskey list — perfect for couples married at a hotel, club, or restaurant with a strong inventory. No markup, no waste, and a flight tied to your venue.
Beyond the pour — cheese, chocolate, and pairing dinners
What makes us genuinely different from any other wedding bar service: Adam is also the founder of The Cheese Professor and The Chocolate Professor, sister editorial properties that explore those crafts with the same depth as whiskey. We can build cheese pairings, chocolate flights, and full whiskey-paired courses into your dinner — coordinated with your caterer or our chef partners.
How it works
Tell us your date, venue, headcount, the format you’re imagining, and any story details that matter to you. Within one business day we come back with a curated flight, a format proposal, and a quote. From there, one short call locks the details — and we coordinate directly with your wedding planner and venue.
